LIQUID LENS REFRACTION

Dr. Choi is one of the few in the world with the Essilor Vision-R 800 liquid lens refraction unit which uses special patented optics unlike any other system on the market. This cutting-edge technology aids in her meticulous calculations of each prescription (refractive power).

RETINAL IMAGING

A non-invasive and speedy way to view the inside of the eyes for early diagnosis and monitoring of ocular conditions and pathologies from genetic, ocular or systemic causes.

EXTERNAL PHOTOGRAPHY

A camera is used to take images of external ocular structures (cornea, eyelids, conjunctiva, sclera) to diagnose and monitor conditions such as superficial eye growths, freckles, and melanoma.

WELLNESS SCANS

Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) provides a cross sectional view of the deeper layers of the skin (retina). The two most important internal areas of the eye: 1) macula and 2) optic nerve are commonly scanned and compared to a normative data base to help detect and manage conditions which include macular degeneration and glaucoma.

“nO PUFF, NO DROP” EYE PRESSURE TEST

The innovative ICARE tonometer is an easy and fast way of determining the intraocular pressure of the eye (IOP) without the side effects of older methods that use an air puff or eye drop. IOP is important when evaluating internal eye inflammation and glaucoma.
